I find some pictures of my native town ( Blois - Loir & Cher - France ) invaded by the german army in 1940.

i like your work, special how you made the leafs. Are a very good imitation for ivy in dioramas! ...i don't know what is the name in romanian for silver birch, probably 'mesteacan'!?

The silver birch is probably 'mesteacan' but it could be another type of 'mesteacan' that does not grow in Romania. How knows...I have never noticed something like the "ivy leafs" in the 'mesteacan'.May becouse i did not look....

Yes indeed is mesteacan and the catkin in romanian means the same thing "matisor".
To bad I'm a 1/72 scale modeller. Did anybody see a midget silver birch ?
