Its time to build one Orao kit for my collection, so, i took the kit and camera and start modeling and shooting, here is the Orao 1/72 scale resin kit build photo story.
My Romanian language is not so good, and i hope , English, with lot of photos, will tell you the story.

I chose this Orao scheme, serialed 25207, with heavily weared paint scheme, "Pepsi" style Yugoslav markings, prior the plane is overhauled and repainted in new, black&white display "Penguin" scheme.
Standard, Medium Gray/Green/Light blue scheme is patched with darker green and dark Gray on topsides and brown patches on undersides, giving the unusual look of this ORAO jet.

Four views of chosen scheme,

welcome YASIG :-o
Great review of AEROPOXY kit.
To me it`s very good in shape except the nose and the fuselage size in the back. Even so is the best kit that you can find in 1/72.
It will be interesting to see a picture from the top ( after you glue the two fuselage parts) over the draw.
Me personal I like more last printed decal profile 3. Soko J-22 Orao, no.25207, Serbian AF . But you can put armament on it, so :drinks:
In September I was in Serbia for Batajnica 2009 International Air Show for few hours . But I did not have time to go Beograd . :drinks:
I am interested in buying this kit and also if you don`t need the Romanian decals from sheet printed by LiftHere Serbia I would like to buy it or may be an exchange . :bang:
May be you want something from here or a specific kit in exchange for Soko, if you can find it any more.
A lot of Romanian I am sure that would like to have Serbian kits but we did not find a way to get it here in Romania .
Go on with good work.

Thanx for the comments, Romi, i'm the kit producer also, and this Orao is last produced kit from 2nd batch, now the work on new tools goes and kit is not available at this moment, will be available early 2010, with new decals, including Romanian IAR 93, Republic of Srpska and B/W display Orao, same serial 25207 , like this one, built by my friend Mr. Zoran Rados from UK.

Stay tuned and i will announce new kit release, here at forum. BTW, i sent few kits to Romania allready, without problems.

First of all, your welcome on this site.I'm glad we have a new friend here.
I think is a good job over there(I mean the kit and your assembly work),even if I do not know too much about jet planes.

Todays small update, kit is polished, rescribed some panel lines and primed with car bumpers plastic primer, great paint, strong, good adhesion to resin, easy to polishing and even fine scribing.
Its now ready for paintwork and detailing.

Servus,

I just wait to see a price :hi:

Later edit:
