Hi,
I'm a french modeller and I have Dragon BRDM-2 kit and I would like to know if the color of it is "blue" or "green". If you have some pics....because I have just found T-55 and BTR-50 pics.

Salut Stephane!

J`ai aussi une kit de BRDM-3 Dragon, et dans l`instructions pour la variante d` URSS nous avons le combination 80% vert fonce et 20% vert clair, ainsi que finallement c`est une nouance de vert.
Dans le kit existe quelque decals pour le BRDM de Roumanie, mais nous n`avons pas aucune indications pour
les couleurs, mais je crois que le couleur est un vert fonce.

Salut Stephane! I also have the BRDM 3, and if your decals are the same as in my box, they're wrong. The Romanian roundel has the innermost circle (the blue one) with a diameter two times larger than it should be. I'm not so sure about BRDM 2 in Romanian Army service, since we have the locally developed TAB79. As far as I know, only specialized vehicules (souch as the ATGM platform) were retained from both BRDM 1 and BRDM 2 series, though the basic BRDM 1 was used, probably because TAB 79 appeared later.

Hi, salut !
Thank you for your help ! OK for Romanian decals, i'll use plane or Bison decal one because Dragon is wrong !
I would represent a romanian BRDM-3 or Bulgarian BRDM-2 during training in Carpates mountains and this vehicule meet a bear going out forest......
