I try to build this most famous aircraft of "Vietnam War"

Firstly I have to say this kit not so good only ok.If you want to build an Skyraider I want to offer Tamiya

I have both the kits, the Italeri is assembled but not painted. The Italeri has raised panel lines while the Tamiya is of the engraved panel lines type. If you want a simple build (and cheap) than you can make the Italeri which with some amount of extra work will turn into a nice representation of the Skyraider.

During building this kit my friend Bogdan"bogy" who said me "the air intake positioned up on the engine it's wrong"..well
than I started to work on air intake...

I think air intake is OK....if not I can do it just this...

Hello, nice work so far. I have a question. How did you obtain the dirty panel line effect on raised panel lines ???

I can just to say sipmle prosses.Tamiya X-1 and glass cleaner to thin the paint.
X-1 is 1/1 parcent thin with glass cleaner on the case
This blend paint on panel lines by thin brush.After(none dry yet!! )
to flight course wash the panels by wet large brush.

Nice job! One more question - when you say wash panels with large wet brush you mean large brush
wet with water or wet with blend paint?

Well...sorry I'd forgat it...firstly lets edit to the paint,it has being XF-1 as you see on the photo
