yes...it's a palm tree....

Would you like to know I did?

It's very simple...I used the leaves of 'mimosa' (I'm sorry...I don't know the name in english)....It's used during the commerations for the Woman's Feast day on 8th March
They resembling to a palm leaves....

Wonderful dioramas Mario. This one is my favorite.
It shows really well that Pacific late war atmosphere and island hopping.

Here is the 'mimosa' ! I used the green leaves around the yellow 'mimosa' flower....

Nice work indeed. It was better stil if you have selected a more neutral background color.
The plant is called "Mimosa Pudica" I gues and it has the characteristic that when you touch it the leafs are closing together showing somehow as dried. If I remember correct it makes some pink flowers.
I recognize the special landing Sherman. Which kind is the other tank ?

you are right....the background color...it isn't the best.....

the other tank it's a Japanese Type 97 (Tamiya)
