Hello and welcome !

I love the atmosphere of your vignette!
I am surprised that someone actually managed to complete the Italeri mark IX, and to such a nice result. It is , after all, a quite challenging kit, with terrible fit, especially around the engine area.

One small suggestion, on almost all british warplanes, the very tip of the propeller blades were painted yellow.
Also, from what I remember, the red crowbar on the access door is mostly a post war/ restored machines "safety color".. during the war they were either unpainted or even the green interior color, but not red, apparently...

Here's a discussion about it :

Did you have troubles with the windscreen? this one looks more like a "replacement" from an early mark V with external armor :)
When i built the italeri spits i was quite surprised how thin the canopy pieces were, and did crack one or two during building...

Hi
Many many thanks for your suggestions.
I'm honest....I'm not an expert on aircraft, so....it's really possible I did several mistakes!

Many thanks to show me these therads!!!
:-)

No, I haven't had problems with windscreen...it was all right during the W.I.P.

I really like the pilot on the wing, a flamboyant idea for the classical pilot given by almost all brands that ends up either thrown away, either cramped in the cockpit.

Hi Kvogel
Thanks!
I imagined the pilot at rest on the wing....talking with another pilot on the ground.
So I found a new position fir the classic pilot given by Airfix.
I gave him a ...' new modellistic life' !!!!

Thanks again!

Hi Mario,
Congratulations also from my side; looks really nice. I like especialy the plane, even the Italeri kit isn't now quite the best one vs. other on the market.
