Well, I am going to search in my documentation, but I am not sure to find...
These kind of pictures are rare, but I can provide pictures of French FT with octogonal turret if you want.
What kind of turret is of interest to you, with Hotchkiss MG, Reibel MG or gun ?

Yes, I agree: certainly are rare, this is the reason for I hope you can help me.
Romania received, starting with 1919, a total of 76 tanks Renault FT 17 (28 pieces brand new, shipped directly from France, the rest being transferred by the French army in the East).
I am interested, in particular, about octagon FT-17 turret armed with Hotchkiss 8 mm machine gun.
Romania Army was not equipped with tanks armed with Reibel 7,5 mm machine guns.
In summary I would have needed information if Renault FT17 tank turret octagon "female" were delivered to Romania, in what colors were painted and registration type (numbers, letters,in which area they appear painted).
Thank you in advance.
P.S.
A good start:
this photo was taken in Carol Park in Bucharest.
Judging by the soldiers' uniforms (Germans), is during the Second World War, it could be in 1940 or 1941.
I think it might be a FT17 received directly from France by 1920-1921.

Hello,
Here is the very poor result of my researches in French, English and Russian publications dealing with the Renault FT in Romanian Army :
In 1919 the French Renault FT from the AS 301 and AS 302 Compagnies (AS for Artillerie
Spéciale) were sent in Romania. 76 FT were in service, 45 fitted with the 37mm gun and 31 with the Hotchkiss 8mm MG.
That is all ! It is very difficult to find data on the subject.
Regarding the marking or painting of these tanks, I absolutely found nothing ! It is really a pity, and nothing on the Net.
It is easier to find informations about Polish or Russian FT. Romanian FT seems not to be of interest for authors … sorry.
Can I help you otherwise ?

Thank you for your intention to help me.
Some photos are on this forum, even a movie, the FT17 tanks appear at a parade; I think it is sometime in 1922.
I thought, maybe, you have more information or pictures about this issue.
Here's the link to that topic.
