Hello, everyone.I'm a new bie here from Shanghai,China, and I'd like to post my very first topic here by a Romanian MiG—which took me about two months.

For In-Progress Information, just click the link as below:
1/72 MiG-29 "Sniper", Airfix+ICM+Hasegawa

And the picture of the real plane as below are collected from Internet by myself.

As far as I know,"Fulcrum" has nick name in Russian Air Force——Ласточка(means "Swallow"?).Is that trure?

Hi Haneto,
That is a beautiful model and the extra work you put into it shows!
The only criticism that I could make is that the instrument panel of the "Sniper" was different from the standard MiG29 instrument panel (most of the analog dials were replaced by CRTs). However, that is not really visible in 1/72 and it does not take away from a beautiful model.

Hi Haneto,

Indeed very nice proof of excellent craftmanship!!! I'm not so fond of jets but what you did with the Sniper is quite commendable.

Keep up! :bang:

Haneto!...Brother ! Maybe after all you are a romanian and you don't know it.
Great job! The pictures are excelent.
I must admit that you have more photos of this Mig than I have.
Regarding the russian nickname of the bird....I don't know anything. But somebody here on this forum surely knows. So just be patient.

Hi Haneto!
Great job with both models!
But I have 2 small observations:
- I never saw chaff/flare dispensers on romanian mig29's;
- I never saw a romanian mig29 armed with r-73 missiles, only r-27 and r-60mk.
Anyway, overall you've done a great-great job.
BYE!
Gopo

PS. This represent my point of view. If I'm wrong please excuse.

gopo, RoAf MiG-29s have been regularly spotted with R-73 pylons (the ones in the middle), while the inner ones are for R-27 and the outer ones are typical for R-60 (smaller and much more lowered than those for the R-73).

Zapacitule, you are right. I just spoke with somebody who worked at maintenance in MK AFB. He confirmed what you said. MY MISTAKE!

Hi,guys.I updated this thread by some air-field accessaries for Fulcrum.

I used PE set from Polish PART.

I didn't cement them because they just fit the Airfix kit so well and can hold on to the aircraft.

The ladder is especially nice,so I'm a little regret to seal the canopy...
